Who can join as an investor?
The Innovation and Development Foundation (FIDBAN) encourages the creation of an International Investors Club, made up of individuals or entities with the financial capacity to make capital investments in profitable projects. Through FIDBAN, the relationship between local and global entrepreneurs and investors will be fostered, expanding business and co-investment opportunities on a global scale.
Investors will have access to business projects that have been selected under rigorous criteria, which will be presented at the International Investor Forums organized periodically by FIDBAN.
The Investors Club is open to individuals or entities with the financial capacity to invest in innovative business projects with growth prospects presented through the FIDBAN platform.
Club members may include representatives of venture capital firms, business angels, family offices, corporate investors or groups of private investors, among others.
Membership in the Club is open to investors admitted to any of the FIDBAN chapters present in more than 30 countries.
Members of the Investors Club will have access to all international entrepreneurial proposals that have qualified for selection by FIDBAN. In addition, they will have the opportunity to attend the International Investment Forums organized by FIDBAN, where business projects seeking financial support will be presented and defended.
Investors from one or more FIDBAN Chapters may co-invest in one or more projects of mutual interest. It will also be possible to work on co-investment proposals between Club members and collaborating entities with which FIDBAN has signed agreements.
What information will they have access to?
The Investors Club will be invited to participate in the International Investment Forums where the business projects that have met FIDBAN’s selection criteria will be presented. The Forums will be held quarterly and will be streamed online so that investors from anywhere in the world can attend. The presentations will be recorded and made permanently available on the FIDBAN platform exclusively for investors.
There will be a portfolio of projects diversified by activity, industry, country, or risk profile, allowing investors to decide where to allocate capital according to the stage of the business: seed, start-up, early stage, growth, or expansion.
In addition, FIDBAN allows members of the Investors Club:
- Generate networking among investors from all FIDBAN Chapters.
- Invest individually or in co-investment with other Fidban members locally and globally.
- Remote access to all business proposals with growth prospects in each country.
- Attendance at several Annual Forums held in each country to hear the most attractive business proposals and engage in effective networking.
Joining the International Investors Club
- Fill out the application form to become a member of the Investors Club.
- Attend a personal or video-conference interview with a representative of the FIDBAN Chapter in the investor’s country of residence.
- Within a maximum of 30 days, the FIDBAN Committee will notify the applicant of their admission status to the Investors Club.
Once admitted, investors will have unlimited access to previously selected projects and business proposals from both their local chapter and other international chapters.
