Research and development of products that seek early cancer detection and more precise treatment, personalized for each patient, by analyzing their genetic heritage associated with hereditary cancers. They have developed two products that fulfill this purpose: DECODER and SPIRAL.
DECODER is a tool that allows cancer patients to monitor their cancerous tumor in real time, using only a blood sample, without the need for a tissue biopsy. The genetic evolution of tumors and disease progression are studied, so that the physician obtains the most accurate information to tailor treatment for their patient. The evolutionary dynamics of cancer are fully addressed, from primary diagnosis to remission or recurrence monitoring. SPIRAL is a personal genetic cancer screening test that a healthy individual can take to detect the presence of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and/or tumor DNA in their blood.
GENETRACER BIOTECH proposes a concept of preventive medicine, where an individual does not have to present symptoms to detect cancer, but rather can anticipate and treat it in a timely manner when their genetic heritage associated with hereditary cancers is detected.
